Governor Jenniffer González-Colón kicked off the commemorative events for the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America by swearing in 250 teenagers from across Puerto Rico as the Tricentennial Generation, who will take on the responsibility of preserving the legacy of the nation’s first 250 years and carrying it forward to the Tricentennial.
