Following last week’s meeting between Governor Jenniffer González-Colón and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) authorized the allocation of $1,183,611,623.16 for the execution of 176 reconstruction projects across Puerto Rico.

Federal funds will support strategic projects, including improvements to the Super aqueduct and modernization of critical facilities across the Island.

n alignment with the Government of Puerto Rico’s commitment to safety, dignity, and the protection of individuals in public spaces, Governor Jenniffer González-Colón signed into law the “Public Government Restroom Facilities Regulation Act,” now Law 26-2026 (House Bill 165).
