La gobernadora de Puerto Rico, Jenniffer González Colón, anunció hoy la obligación y aprobación de $12,957,500.36 en nuevos fondos federales de FEMA para proyectos de reconstrucción, reparación de infraestructura crítica, fortalecimiento de servicios públicos y manejo de subvenciones relacionadas con el huracán María, los terremotos de 2020, el huracán Fiona y la tormenta tropical Ernesto.

As Puerto Rico begins the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, Governor Jenniffer González-Colón convened senior government officials, municipal leaders, federal agency representatives, and private-sector partners to review preparedness measures and coordinate response efforts aimed at protecting lives, safeguarding critical infrastructure, and ensuring the continuity of essential services in the event of a storm or hurricane affecting the Island.

As part of the national celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, Governor Jenniffer González-Colón introduced Administration Bill 119.
