The Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA) is the main liaison between Puerto Rico and the U.S. mainland. Since its establishment in 1979, PRFAA has been dedicated to advocating for Puerto Rico’s interests at the federal level, working with Congress, the executive branch, and other key government entities.
March 2023 – Royal Caribbean International launches the new “Artist Discovery Program,” beginning with a Caribbean edition that will debut on Icon of the Seas in January 2024.
The Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA) dedicates to the task of ably representing and advancing the interests of the Government of Puerto Rico before federal, state, and local governments. As the Office of the Governor of Puerto Rico, PRFAA is focused on promoting Puerto Rico’s economic and public policy initiatives to achieve a better quality of life for our citizens. In carrying out its responsibilities, PRFAA works closely with agencies throughout the Government of Puerto Rico, as well as with Puerto Rico legislative leaders, mayors and other stakeholders to serve as a liaison between the Federal Government, Congress and The White House.
Like other states, PRFAA’s focus areas include economic stimulus and development, transportation funding, energy, healthcare including Medicare and Medicaid, as well as issues that affect veterans and our national defense.
